On a mission to make and grow disciples

Prayer Central and Growth Groups

Prayer is a central part of our life as a church. It is the way we communicate with God.

Prayer happens in many different settings at Harper. We pray at our Sunday meetings, small groups and we also spend time praying alone.

In prayer, we want to:
  • Thank God for who he is and all that he has done for us.
  • Confess the things we have done wrong and ask for forgiveness.
  • Ask God about the things that concern us.
The whole church comes together regularly with the main focus on prayer. We pray for our church family, our city, nation and our world. Sometimes there is a specific theme. Prayer Central takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of the month at 7.30pm at the church. Everyone is welcome and no-one is forced to pray out loud. God hears all our prayers, both spoken and unspoken. we also have a Prayer Central event on the last Sunday of the month.

We also place a high priority on small groups which we think is important for our spiritual growth and health. We have a series of 'Growth Groups' which meet at different times and places. You can register for one of our growth groups by clicking the links below:
