Older People

Spiritual care for older people is about recognising and supporting older people in their continuing valuable contribution to the life of the church and their communities, and caring for the spiritual needs of older people when physical frailty or mental impairment become significant issues in their lives.

At Harper we have an active ministry in two residential homes where we meet with residents and support acts of worship.

We have regular meetings at Forfar Avenue Residential Home in Cardonald, which is home to 44 older people. We also have regular meetings at Ailsa Craig Residential Home
